Would you like to make a real difference in someone’s life and enrich your own life at the same time? Are you an open, caring person with life experience to share? Are you a good listener? If so, WomenCare offers you the opportunity to support a woman coming out of challenging life situations as she works on achieving her life goals. The Center Foundation provides mentors with training and ongoing support, In addition, our matches are invited to attend skills-based workshops and special family events throughout the year.

If you think you need help in developing your vision for the future and taking the first or next step toward independence, self-sufficiency and fulfillment, a WomenCare is for you. WomenCare is a free mentorship program with trained, caring mentors who provide advice, guidance, and friendship. The Center Foundation provides mentors with training and ongoing support for their mentee. In addition, our matches are invited to skills-based workshops and special family events throughout the year.

Are you pregnant, a teen parent or teen who could use some extra support in your life? The Center Foundation provides free mentoring and other services to help you during this important time in your life. You don't have to face the challenges of being a teen alone. You will be matched with a trained, caring mentor who will provide you advice, guidance, and friendship. Sponsor a Family All Year

Many of our families experience difficult times throughout the year, not just at the holidays. Our families have real needs for basic essentials, household items, and furnishings.

If you would like to sponsor a family throughout the year, please contact our Program Director Jane Todd

Holiday from the Heart

Make the holidays special for our particpants and their children with Holiday from the Heart.

Each sponsor receives a form listing the first names, ages, sizes, and interests of the family members as well as the holiday the family will be celebrating. Sponsors deliver wrapped gifts to our office, and volunteers will help deliver gifts to the families.

About the Families

Sponsored familes are participants in The Center Foundation's WomenCare program , Young Parents Support Network or TeenCare.

Our families range in size from single women, a mother with one infant, to families of six or more. Consider asking friends to team up with you, or tell us what you can gift and we can combine your giving with that of others.
